Yesterday (9/5) I visited the new Amazon Fresh outlet at the Thousand Oaks (CA) Promenade, intending to purchase a light meal a small green salad at the salad bar and a can of sardines to chop into the salad. (I keep packets of fat-free dressing in my car.) I was astonished and angered when I received my receipt, which indicated that I had been charged $10,00 plus tax for the tiny salad, which filled less than a quarter of the take-out box. I had previously purchased the same amount of salad greens at other Amazon Fresh stores for around $3.00. In fact, the store in Woodland Hills allows customers to weigh their salads and print out a QR pricetag, which they can take to the self check-out stands. Indeed, every high-end grocery store in this area charges by weight for the salad bar, including, as I indicated, Amazon Fresh and the Whole Foods markets. This store, however, charges by the size of the box. (I used a medium box there are only two sizes; this one was the larger of the two solely because I intended to chop up the greens with the can of sardines. I did not notice any sign indicating that the salad bar charge would reflect the size of the box that I used, but then, I had no reason to suspect that I would be charged any differently than I had been in the past. I will not be returning to this store, and if this is a new policy at all Amazon Fresh stores, I will not be returning to any of them. After writing this complaint, I attempted to file it online. Expecting that I would be connected with an Amazon Fresh rep, I discovered instead that I was connected with a separate website called "Just Answer." The site promises that I would be connected to a representative for a one-on-one chat quickly. Instead, I was connected to a robot, who in turn, connected me to a web page asking me to submit my credit-card info for a $1.00 charge ("Don't worry," the website says, "It's fully refundable." Reluctantly I provided the credit-card info, but when I did so, I received an error message instructing me to call a customer-service phone number.

My groceries arrived with three missing items, and was left in The upstairs Hall near the front entrance of the building.

This person was in my driveway, block me from leaving and refuse to move his car, kept telling me to wait, JUST MOVE YOUR CAR, you're in the wrong drive way making a delivery to 427 43rd Street SAN DIEGO CA ... Did not move his car until he made the delivery. What kind of people is Amazon hiring who refuse to follow their policy.

About free sandwiches loaded to card

I loaded 3 free sandwiches to my Amazon fresh account. They all expired 9/7. 2 days later theres only 2 left in my account. By the time I got to the store 9/4 only 1 left for me to redeem. What happened?? How can they give it to you and take them away??

Your products are limited at best. Your fruits are often times not even ripe when received. The prices on your meats are not proportional to the size of the product! You can get a better deal at your!

Bought three kinds of fruits and two out of three were not ripe and inedible! Not the first time either!

ORDER # xxx-xxxxx-672**** I went to your Amazon Grocery store today with the enticement coupon telling me that if I spend $20, I would get $10 off my purchase. I tracked my purchases and know I spent around $22 on items. When I checked out, the attendant had me scan the coupon to make sure it would be applied. I was then told I would get a receipt in email soon. That never happened. I had to search My Orders to find the receipt. Your system failed to pick up one item in my cart which was sliced chicken. Because your system failed, my order came to only $19.42. That then failed me to qualify me for the $10 off. I have now spent the last hour explaining this issue to no less than 4 people. Twice I was hung up on in the middle of the conversation so I had to start all over twice. When it was clear what had happened finally, I was told I would be given a $10 online credit for my next purchase. You know what really *** me off is the hour I spent trying to get your company to understand the problem, and in the end, I have to spend ANOTHER $10 in order to make this right. Where is the rational in that? I will post this on the open forum pages for your Amazon Stores to be sure potential patrons are aware that this system is very flawed and do not take that the "simplicity" of walking in and out is the end of the process. It is just the beginning. Then try to place the Order ID as requested as proof of purchase, and the system will tell you "They do not accept file in such format". Really makes it hard to follow up with Customer Service. ORDER ID# 113-294****-672****

Order

My order was supposed to come between 5-7 pm I called at 7:15 in spike to someone they said it's nothing they can I got to wait in they don't know what time the order coming they said the driver running late thats all they know . This is very unacceptable and I will no longer be using your services.

Grocery items missing I want delivered

Good day. I placed an order on 08/13/22 and it was delivered the very next day. All of my items were fulfilled except "Krustez Honey Cornbread Mix". Instead of sending me the item I was offered a refund because it was 1 item. I was quite content with the order because Amazon Fresh did the shopping for me. I just wanted my item sent to me or I would have never ordered it. Amazon sends individual items all the time so I don't understand why not this time. It can certainly be mailed to me.

Amazon fresh prices are an absolute insult to anyone who shops for groceries due to the ridiculous high prices & the only reason I would consider going is when a special discount is offered in the mail. Even then they rarely have the discounted items in stock. Today I was charged for an expensive item I didnt even purchase. While I was able to stop the charge on my credit card I called Amazon to rectify the situation and was told I should pay for the item I never purchased and then they would give me a refund. No wonder the store is always empty.

Pissed off , Whole Foods allows to put in your telephone number and receive yiur discounts and paper receipts.

The cameras and receipts I was falsely charged items , we did not buy!!! You cannot give your telephone or scan the QR code and register .. its terrible .. if I had the receipt in my hand at check out .. I would have caught the items ! I did not buy! It sucks , now I have to drive back to the store and get my money back .. And never go back to Amazon fresh to be ripped off.

Well my wife picked up a couple of bakery pastries yesterday and they do look appetizing. They are assorted mini danishes and sour cream donuts. Wow. I dont know how long they keep their stuff on the shelf but they are hard like half petrified and pretty tasteless. Im throwing them out and not going back there. Amazon does a good job at delivering stuff but they should not have gotten into the food thing especially baking anything.
